Is it normal to get a period while using aidee?

Hi, because my menstrual cycle was very irregular gynecologist gave me aidee tablets, which she told me to take without waiting for menstruation (the last I had 2.5 months ago). In the second week of use of tablets appeared gentle spotting, which about 5 days. The day before yesterday I got a period (that's what it at least looks like). I'm at the end of the first pack of tablets. Is it normal to have this during the period? I will just mention that I am 27 years old.
