Can vitamin D3 cause muscle and joint pain?
Good morning, I am being treated with Osporil, but recently I got from the endocrinologist vit.d devikap 15000 / 8 drops /. I do not know if it is possible, but after taking these drops after two weeks my muscles and bones began to hurt. Is this possible???? I mention that I have vit d at the level of 20 which is very little.

Bóle mięśni i stawów mogą być objawem hiperwitaminozy, spowodowanej nadmierną podażą witaminy D3. Zdarza się to jednak rzadko, podczas długotrwałego stosowania wysokich dawek witaminy D3.
Biorąc pod uwagę stosunkowo krótki czas przyjmowania preparatu Devikap, jego dawkę i wyjściowy poziom witaminy D3, w opisanym przez Panią przypadku prawdopodobieństwo, że objawy bólowe są spowodowane jego przyjmowaniem jest bardzo małe. Sama suplementacja witaminą D3 oraz wapniem jest wskazana podczas terapii lekiem Osporil.
Polecam skonsultować z lekarzem obserwowane objawy, gdyż istnieje prawdopodobieństwo, iż mają one związek ze stanem, z powodu którego zalecono stosowanie leku Osporil.
