To @Tomasz: I am afraid that in such a situation it will be necessary to consult a psychiatrist. If you do not have the opportunity to go to the doctor in England, you can use the teleadvice here: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/telekonsultacja Most likely, it will be necessary to gradually reduce the dose of the drug, e.g. by 1 tablet every 2-3 days while introducing supportive treatment that will eliminate withdrawal symptoms. Since you have been using diazepam for much longer than recommended, an urgent consultation with a doctor seems to be necessary. According to the manufacturer: "The drug should be discontinued gradually. In case of insomnia, the drug should not be used for more than 4 weeks, and in the case of anxiety 8-12 weeks. (including the time of gradual discontinuation of the drug)."

I have been taking diazepam for 4 years. My tolerance increased terribly to 20 tablets a day. Diazepam I take in a dose of 10mg. How to reduce it? I am in England and here the health service leaves much to be desired.
