Skutków ubocznych leków nie da się określić z wyprzedzeniem. Te, które są zawarte w ulotce, zostały zaobserwowane podczas badań klinicznych leku lub zgłoszone przez pacjentów podczas użytkowania leku.
Należy jednak pamiętać, że fakt, iż jakiś lek posiada mniejszą ilość skutków ubocznych wymienionych w ulotce, nie oznacza, że nie wywołuje on innych, bowiem część z nich może nie być zgłoszona przez pacjentów i nie dopisana w ulotce.
Jeśli leki są zamiennikami, czyli zawierają tę samą substancję czynną, w tej samej dawce, mają tę samą postać leku, te same wskazania do stosowania i to samo działanie terapeutyczne, czyli ogólnie - są takie same - to wywołują te same skutki uboczne. Stosowanie więc zamiennika w takiej sytuacji wydaje się być bezzasadne.
Proszę opisać lekarzowi, który zapisał lek Pradaxa, na czym polega problem. Być może zmodyfikuje on dotychczasową terapię.
