Ibum forte zawiera jako substancję czynną ibuprofen.
Lek wykazuje działanie przeciwbólowe, przeciwzapalne oraz przeciwgorączkowe. Można stosować go w bólach np. bólu głowy czy gardła oraz jako czynnik zmniejszający stan zapalny. Brak gorączki u pacjenta nie jest przeciwwskazaniem do podania leku.
