How do I give a 0.5 mg dose if I have an Ozempic 1 mg pen?
I have a pack of Ozempic 1 mg ie 4 doses with 4 needles. I have to take 0.5 at a time. Does this mean that I should take half of the pen once a week? If there is 1 mg in the pen, half of the content will be the dose for me that I should take a week? Unfortunately, in this variant of the drug 1 mg I do not know how to divide it because there are no numbers clearly determining the amount of the drug and only dashes, I DO NOT KNOW HOW TO DIVIDE IT SO THAT IT WAS 0.5

Jeden wstrzykiwacz leku Ozempic zawiera 4 dawki leku po 1 mg (łącznie 4 mg semaglutydu). Fabryczny wstrzykiwacz umożliwia podanie leku w określonej dawce. Producent zaleca, aby w przypadku wstrzykiwacza dla leku Ozempic stosować dawki zgodne z oznaczeniem na opakowaniu. Nie zamieszczono informacji o dawkowaniu mniejszym niż po całej dawce. Jednakże przed aplikacją preparatu ustawia się zadaną wartość dawki (w mg) na wstrzykiwaczu.
Jeżeli ma Pani wstrzykiwacz z lekiem proszę sprawdzić czy można nastawić dawkę na 0,5 mg. Wtedy w jednym wstrzykiwaczu będzie Pani miała 8 dawek po 0,5 mg.
This ozempic is much more useful for diabetics who are sick than for those who want to lose weight or lose a bone... those who want to lose weight just have to eat less... leave this product to the sick and not to those who find curves... now the sick don't have any more... Is it clever!!
According to my doctor, it takes 37 clicks to have the dose of 0.5 mg.
Ok, how many clicks do I do on 0.5 to be enough for 8 weeks, if a total of 72 clicks in pen?
You write that the 0.5 is 36 clicks-once ???
You have to set 36 clicks. Then the dose of 0.5 will come out.
For 6 weeks you can give 7 doses because the first one is just starting the countdown, i.e. the 7th dose will be taken after 6 weeks

For @MaKu: Physically there are 8 doses in the pen, however, due to the durability of the drug, only 6 of them can be used.
The manufacturer clearly indicates that the pen should be discarded after 6 weeks. So when dividing the drug into 1mg into 0.5 doses, do we actually have 8 doses or 6, because there is no guarantee that the drug in the last two doses is effective. Or is there information somewhere that this deadline can be extended..?
