Can the pressure increase after taking propranolol?
Hello, The doctor prescribed me Propranolol WZF 10mg immediately for palpitations 1 tablet, recently as I took it pressure jumped me from 130/80 to 150/100, then gradually decreased, is this the right reaction of the body?

I'm sorry to interject, but propranolol doesn't work after a few minutes. It works from 40-60 minutes after taking it. Maybe that wasn't the cause though?

Propranolol jest preparatem, który m.in. obniża ciśnienie krwi, a więc jego zwyżka raczej nie mogła być związana z jego zastosowaniem.
Byś może lek nie zaczął jeszcze działać, a podniesienie ciśnienia było związane z jakimiś emocjami, a następnie ciśnienie zaczęło spadać, kiedy lek zaczął działać.
Trudno mi jednoznacznie wyrokować, niemniej proszę się obserwować i mierzyć ciśnienie. Gdyby problem nawracał zachęcam do kontaktu z lekarzem, który będzie mógł wykonać niezbędne badania i znaleźć przyczynę takiej reakcji.
