For @Marta: No-spa in addition to the active substance - drotaverine, contains auxiliary substances: Magnesium stearate, Talc, Povidone, Corn starch, Lactose monohydrate. There is no gluten in the composition. This product can be safely used by people with celiac disease. In addition, I would like to add that the Association of European Societies of People with Celiac Disease (AOECS) issued a statement that "All medicines available in the European Union can be considered safe for people with celiac disease. Exceptions are the individual cases of persons with particular hypersensitivity to wheat."

For @Marta: Neosine Forte is not an immune-boosting drug. What's more, according to the available studies, inosine (the active ingredient in Neosine) does not shorten the duration of the infection or relieve its symptoms. Neosine Duo, in addition to inosine, additionally contains zinc. However, this is a low dose and will not have a significant effect on the effect of the preparation. About how to strengthen immunity and what preparations from the pharmacy can be used for this purpose, we wrote here: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/wzmacnianie-odpornosci
Can I use Neosine Forte 500 mg/5 ml in syrup for autoimmune diseases to boost immunity caused by recurrent throat infections? If so, in what dosage and for how many days? I am currently 45 kg. Does Prescription Neosine Duo Syrup have the same effect as Neosine Forte Syrup?

For @Marta: Such glucose usually contains only glucose in the composition - such a powder does not require the addition of excipients that could be unsuitable for a person with celiac disease.
Hi, if I have celiac disease, can I take glucose powder to do it myself in order to diagnose sibo or can there be gluten in this glucose? I will add that glucose along with the test purchased in the laboratory thank you in advance for the answer

In people with celiac disease, analgesics and antipyretics containing m.in paracetamol may be used for cold symptoms. In the presence of additional symptoms, such as a runny nose, preparations with pseudoephedrine or phenylephrine can be used. However, the appearance of dry cough can be relieved by preparations with dextromethorphan. In the case of cough with secretion, however, it is recommended to m.in. guaifenazine. Complex, safe for celiac disease products include, m.in: - Vicks Symptomed Complete (composition: paracetamol, guaifenesin, phenylephrine hydrochloride, sucrose, citric acid, tartaric acid, sodium cyclamate, sodium citrate, aspartame (E951), acesulfame potassium (E950), menthol powder, lemon flavor, lemon juice flavor, quinoline yellow (E104)) - recommended m.in. for fever, runny nose, wet cough: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/82362/vicks-symptomed-complete-o-smaku-cytrynowym-proszek-do-wytworzenia-plynu/apteki - Tantum Flu (composition: paracetamol, phenylephrine hydrochloride, sucrose, anhydrous citric acid, sodium citrate, corn starch, sodium cyclamate, sodium saccharin, ascorbic acid, colloidal anhydrous silica, lemon aroma, curcumin) - recommended m.in. for fever, runny nose: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/103752/tantum-flu-smak-cytrynowy-proszek-do-wytworzenia-plynu/apteki - Fervex without sugar (composition: paracetamol, ascorbic acid, pheniramine maleate, mannitol, anhydrous citric acid, polyvidone, magnesium citrate anhydrous, aspartame, natural antillean flavor (875748)) - recommended m.in. for fever, runny nose: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/29687/fervex-d-granulat-do-wytworzenia-plynu/apteki - Gripex Duo (composition: paracetamol, hydrochloride phenylephrine, povidone, citric acid, citric flavour (α-pinene, D-limonene, maltodextrin (from maize starch), modified corn starch, silicon dioxide (E551)), crospovidone (type A), sucralose, sorbitol, microcrystalline cellulose, colloidal anhydrous silica, talc, magnesium stearate, Opadra shell II: polyvinyl alcohol (E1203),talc (E553b), titanium dioxide (E171), macrogol 3350, copolymer of methacrylic acid and acrylate ethyl, quinoline yellow (E104), tartrazine, lake aluminum (E102), yellow iron oxide (E172), sodium bicarbonate, (E500), indigo carmine, aluminum lake (E132): https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/111791/gripex-duo-tabletki-powlekane/apteki However, referring to your query about Theraflus of the bay - maltodextrin could potentially be a source of gluten. In this case, the manufacturer unfortunately does not specify the source of maltodextrin. The entries in the leaflet detailing individual allergens m.in suggest that it may not be obtained from gluten ingredients: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/78423/theraflu-zatoki-proszek-do-wytworzenia-plynu/ulotka/178349 Numerous preparations are available on the pharmacy market to alleviate the symptoms of colds. If you have additional questions, I encourage you to ask them.
I wanted to ask about the drug Theraflu sinus in people suffering from celiac disease I wrote some time ago about this drug and I got an answer that it can be safely used in people with celiac disease, but I read the leaflet that it contains the component maltodextrin and gluten may be present in this ingredient and whether in that case I can get any answer about Theraflu whether it is therefore safe in people with celiac disease or not?

Nadesłano odpowiedź z firmy IPSEN:
"Szanowna Pani,

- Glukoza jednowodna,
- Sacharynian sodu,
- Aromat pomarańczowy (maltodekstryna, sacharoza, guma arabska [E 414], mono- i diglicerydy kwasów tłuszczowych estryfikowane kwasem mono- i diacetylowinowym [E 472e], dwutlenek krzemu [E 551], aromat pomarańczowy),
- Aromat waniliowy (maltodekstryna, sacharoza, trioctan gliceryny [E 1518], dwutlenek krzemu [E551] alkohol etylowy, lecytyna sojowa [E 322], zapach waniliowy).
