Nebbud can be used in patients with COVID-19. On 12.04.2021, the NHS (National Health Service) issued an Interim Position Statement and a Therapeutic Alert regarding the use of inhaled budesonide in adult patients (≥50 years of age) with COVID-19. According to the NHS recommendation, inhaled budesonide is currently not recommended as a standard treatment, but may be considered (off-label) in individual cases in patients with symptomatic COVID-19, ≥65 years of age or ≥50 with comorbidities. The recommendation was made in connection with the emergence of the results of the PRINCIPLE study, which showed a reduction in the time to recovery by a median of 3 days and a benefit in terms of early sustained recovery in patients using inhaled budesonide at a dose of 800 μg twice daily for 14 days. To @Danka: Steroid drugs such as Nebbud or Benodil and Berodual are available only on prescription, so the pediatrician should decide on the legitimacy of their use. Benodil and Nebbud are their substitutes - they can be used interchangeably.

My friend's son has covid is 10 years old. He has fever, runny nose and cough. She has at home a replacement for nebbut benodil because there was no nebbutu in the pharmacy and the lady in the pharmacy gave benodil. Is it possible to use it? at home still has benedual . Can you do inhalations from this or so far from saline is enough? because the runny nose is, and the cough also but not so much frequent. The child coughs but not so often and does not know what to do inhalations. Please advise.
