Thiocodin jest lekiem stosowanym w terapii suchego, męczącego kaszlu, często utrudniającego zasypianie. W takim wypadku oczywiście można zastosować lek wieczorem. Należy ściśle przestrzegać prawidłowego dawkowania leku: dzieci powyżej 12 roku życia oraz osoby dorosłe powinny przyjmować jedną tabletkę maksymalnie 3 razy na dobę, nie częściej niż co 4-6h.
