Megalia nie jest już dostępna w aptekach.
18 czerwca 2020 roku Główny Inspektor Farmaceutyczny wydał decyzję wycofującą z obrotu wszystkie obecne na rynku serie zawiesiny doustnej Megalia. Przyczyną wycofania jest otrzymanie wyników poza specyfikacją dla parametru "czystość mikrobiologiczna".
Aby otrzymać zamiennik konieczna będzie nowa recepta:
