Okres półtrwania leku Doreta wynosi ok. 5 godzin. Jest to czas, po którym stężenie leku we krwi spadnie o połowę. Po 10 godzinach od podania w organizmie zostanie już 1/4 dawki, a po 15 godzinach 1/8 dawki. Aby lek całkowicie został wydalony z organizmu, potrzebna jest mniej więcej doba.
