Can I take ashwagandha or Indian ginseng at the same time while taking Edronax? Won't they overlap? Nothing is written in the leaflet.

Edronax should not be used m.in with other antidepressants. The active substance in Edronax, Reboxetine, relieves the symptoms of depression, improves mood and reduces tiredness and anxiety. Indian ginseng (Ashwagandha) belongs to the group of adaptogens that improve the process of adaptation of the body. It exhibits activity similar to some antidepressants by affecting serotonin receptors. The use of both preparations will cause interactions and may affect the effectiveness and safety of the prescribed pharmacotherapy. Before possible use of preparations with Indian ginseng, please consult your doctor. To @Bia ly:
No, it is not recommended to use Cital (citalopram) at the same time as ginseng.
Cital is an antidepressant from the group of selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs). Ginseng (including Ashwagandha) has an effect similar to some antidepressants, affecting serotonin receptors. Concomitant use of Cital and ginseng-containing preparations may lead to interactions and affect the efficacy and safety of the recommended pharmacotherapy.
Therefore, before using ginseng preparations during treatment with Cital, you should consult your doctor. If you do not have the opportunity to consult your doctor, you can use the teleconsultation here:

Do @Anonim:
Przed zastosowaniem preparatów zachęcam do konsultacji z lekarzem prowadzącym.
Propranol wywiera działanie na układ sercowo-naczyniowych. Ashwagandha u osób wrażliwych może powodować obniżenie ciśnienia krwi. Równoczesne stosowanie preparatów może wywołać nadmierne obniżenie ciśnienia krwi.
Natomiast preparaty z różeńcem górskim mogą powodować jako działania uboczne m.in. ucisk w klatce piersiowej i podwyższone ciśnienie krwi. Równoczesne stosowanie suplementów diety z różeńcem górskim i propranololu może wpływać na skuteczność zaleconej farmakoterapii.
A czy Propranolol może być stosowany razem z ashwagandhą albo różańcem górskim?
