Vigantoletten for Vegan is a novelty - it has a green inscription "vegan" on the packaging. there vitamin D comes from algae and there is sunflower oil. There is also no beef gelatin.

Hello! Vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol) is usually of animal origin, most often obtained from lanolin (pale yellow animal wax found in sheep's wool). I recommend looking for vitamin D3 which is clearly labeled as a product for vegans. Unfortunately, the manufacturer of Vigantol does not provide information where their active substance comes from - cholecalciferol - also I choose a vegan alternative that gives me confidence that it is vegan in fact.
