Raniseptol has similar applications to Octenisept, but it is a preparation with a different composition. Raniseptol is a medical device in the form of a spray that contains silver ions with a disinfecting effect. In turn, Octenisept is a drug in the form of a spray, which contains octenidine and phenoxyethanol with a disinfectant effect. Raniseptol i Octenisept posiadają w pewnym zakresie podobne zastosowanie, ale nie są to równoważne preparaty.

Raniseptol to wyrób medyczny w postaci sprayu na rany. Składnikiem, który działa w nim odkażająco są jony srebra. Octenisept jest lekiem, płynem o działaniu dezynfekującym zawierającym substancje czynne oktenidynę i fenoksyetanol.
