Can the lack of bleeding when taking Orlifique pills correctly while taking placebo pills mean pregnancy? I also did a pregnancy test, but the last intercourse was 8 days ago, the test came out negative, I will also add that it was intercourse interrupted as much as possible. A single absence of withdrawal bleeding at the expected date does not necessarily mean pregnancy. If you take the pill regularly and do not use other medications that could impair the effectiveness of contraception, the risk of pregnancy is negligible.
Such a situation can be caused, for example, by weakness, infection or stress.
If bleeding does not occur in the next 3-4 days, it is worth taking one more follow-up pregnancy test to confirm. If the result is also negative, pregnancy can be ruled out. If bleeding does not occur in the next 1-2 cycles, it is worth consulting a gynecologist. Additional tests may be necessary, e.g. transvaginal ultrasound, to find the cause of the lack of withdrawal bleeding (other than pregnancy).
