Do I need to take additional protection if I have taken the 2nd tablet after diarrhoea?
9.99 zł

I took the vibin mini contraceptive pill at 3 p.m., within 2 hours there was 3 times a liquid bowel movement. I took another pill from the package. Do I need to use additional contraception if I took a second pill after which diarrhoea no longer occurred? I will add that the diarrhea was not very severe

Yes, the medicine has been taken correctly and its effectiveness is maintained. No additional protection is required.

I took an additional pill at 5 p.m., which is 2 hours after taking the first one. So I don't have to protect myself, plus everything is fine?

You have followed the instructions in the medicine leaflet. If the gastrointestinal complaints have subsided, the effectiveness of contraception will be maintained (I assume that the additional pill was taken at the right time). The current cycle will be one day shorter. If you want to keep your current bleeding schedule, the last tablet must be taken from the new pack.

In case of any doubts, I encourage you to use the teleconsultation with a gynaecologist - the service is available on our website in the e-visit tab:
