I took my last Vibin mini pill more than 12 hours late - should I take extra precautions?
9.99 zł

I use Vibin mini, on Saturday I forgot to take a tablet at 2:00 p.m. (21 tab. pink). I figured it out the next day and at 10:00 a.m. I took the skipped one and the one I should normally take, so I started a new blister. Is my protection maintained or do I have to protect myself for the next 7 days? I would like to add that the last intercourse took place on the day the pill was skipped.

Taking the forgotten tablet and starting a new blister without placebo tablets is the correct action in the described case. Taking the active pills should be continued until the package is finished.

Additional information:

"By the time you stop taking the tablets containing the active substances from the second pack, there will usually be no withdrawal bleeding, however, in some cases, spotting or mid-cycle bleeding may occur on the days when the tablets are used."

If you have taken the tablets regularly for the last 7 days, there is no need to use an additional method of protection during intercourse. If the above recommendations are implemented, contraceptive efficacy remains maintained and there is no risk of pregnancy.
