During the bath, the plaster came off Evra, after 5 minutes I glued a new one in a different place. Will the effectiveness of contraception be maintained?

Hello. The Evra patch came off during the bath, so immediately after 5 minutes I stuck a new one, but not in the same place. Will the effectiveness of contraception be maintained?

You reacted quickly, the effectiveness of contraception remained preserved. According to the manufacturer's information, if the patch is partially or completely detached for less than one day (up to 24 hours), the patch should be immediately reapplied in the same place or a new patch should be applied. There is no need to use additional methods of contraception (e.g. condoms). The new patch can be applied in a different place, especially if the previous place was inappropriate and the patch peeled off.
