Fluconazole 100 mg is used against mycosis of the skin and nails at doses and times depending on the type of infection and its severity. Typical treatment regimens include:
Ringworm: A dose of 100-200 mg once a day for 2-4 weeks is usually used. In some cases, treatment may take longer, e.g. up to 6 weeks.
Nail fungus: Due to the slow growth of the nails, the treatment is longer. Typically, 150-300 mg is used once a week for 6-12 months, depending on the rate at which a healthy nail grows back.
In any case, therapy should be carried out under the supervision of a physician who will adjust the dosage to the individual needs of the patient and assess the effectiveness of the treatment.
