I am currently taking xifaxan 2x a day at 400mg, tribusx forte at diverticula. I also have constipation, I use forlax but there is still a problem. Yesterday I also took lactulosum, could it hurt my left side of the intestine at night? Can you even take lactulosum with xifaxan?

There are no contraindications to combining Xifaxan and Tribux Forte with Forlax or Lactulosum.
Lactulosum can be used for intestinal diverticula.
Pain on the left side at the level of the intestines may indicate the presence of diverticula, i.e. it results from the underlying disease, and not from a combination of drugs, e.g. Xifaxan and Lactulosum; It can also be the result of constipation or gas accumulation.
To diagnose the cause of the problem, you should consult a doctor. A pharmacist is not authorized in this area.
