Good morning
I take a medicine to lower blood pressure (Valzek 160 mg) and the doctor prescribed me Ezen to lower LDL – bad cholesterol. The leaflet says that it can cause high blood pressure as a side effect. Will it be safe for me?
Best regards
Anna

Hypertension is a rare side effect observed with Ezen. In most cases, patients tolerate such a set of drugs well. The combination of preparations that lower blood pressure and cholesterol levels is used to prevent cardiovascular events. If blood pressure disorders are found, a doctor's check-up is indicated.
Any doubts about the recommended treatment should be discussed with a cardiologist - on our website it is possible to book a teleconsultation (the service is available in the e-visit tab):
