Can I take Prokit 2 tablets before breakfast and one before dinner?
9.99 zł

I take Prokit 50 mg 2 times a day, in the morning before breakfast 2 tablets and before dinner 1 tablet, as prescribed by my doctor. Another doctor pointed out to me that the dose of 2 tablets in the morning was too high. Can you take 2 tablets of this medicine at a time?

The recommended dose of Prokit for adults for the treatment of gastroesophageal reflux or indigestion is 150 mg per day. It is usually recommended to take one tablet three times a day before meals. I don't have detailed information about your health, diet, or medical history to explain why your doctor recommended a non-standard dosage (two pills at a time before breakfast). This may be related to the fact that you eat only two meals a day, or the symptoms of illness are strongest in the morning. If you have any doubts, it is worth contacting the doctor who recommended such a treatment regimen.

The total daily dose (150 mg) is within the recommended limits, so if you do not experience any alarming symptoms after taking two tablets at once, this dosage should not pose a health risk.
