Also, any medicine used may cause side effects, as described in the package leaflet. This does not mean that every patient will experience them. Swelling of the ankle area is a common side effect of Telam. They affect no more than 1 in 10 patients using the preparation. The sensation of swelling and other swellings is uncommon, i.e. affects no more than 1 in 100 patients. A full description of side effects and their frequency can be found in the package leaflet.
