After taking the antibiotic Azycin 500 at a dose of 2x1 for three days and performing a GGTP test the next day, can the result be out of the norm (108)?

Yes, Azicin can affect laboratory test results, including liver enzymes, and GGTP (gamma-glutamyl transpeptidase) is a liver enzyme.

Azicin can cause liver toxicity, leading to elevated levels of liver enzymes such as GGTP, ALT, and AST. The increase in drug-related GGTP is reversible, and usually enzyme levels return to normal after treatment is complete (in the case of Azicin, this can take up to several weeks). If you notice any disturbing symptoms, such as yellowing of the skin, abdominal pain or fatigue, you should immediately see a doctor.
