The contraceptive effectiveness of Ginoring may be reduced because the system has been outside the vagina for more than 3 hours. You may consider taking Escapelle - the use of emergency contraception should be discussed with your gynaecologist ("the morning after pill" is available with a doctor's prescription). For the next 7 days, you should use additional methods of protection (condom). Putting on a new disc means starting a new cycle - the break should be done only after 3 weeks.

"If the patient suspects or is certain that Ginoring has been outside the vagina for more than 3 hours in the first or second week of use, contraceptive efficacy may be reduced. The patient should reinsert the vaginal therapeutic system as soon as possible. In addition, for the first 7 days of using Ginoring after reinsertion, barrier methods of contraception, such as a condom, should be used."
