Do not exceed the recommended doses of vitamin D3.
Skin synthesis and food intake do not lead to an overdose of the vitamin. However, the use of dietary supplements and drugs with this substance in excessive amounts can lead to its overdose. Symptoms of vitamin D3 overdose include increased bone fragility, calcification of soft tissues, loss of appetite and cardiac arrhythmias.
