The maximum daily dose of Madopar for the treatment of Parkinson's disease is usually 2 g of levodopa (equivalent to eight tablets of Madopar 250 mg). The dosage of Madopar is individual and depends on the stage of Parkinson's disease, the patient's response to treatment, as well as tolerability to the drug.
500 mg is the maximum daily dose of Madopar when used to treat other conditions, such as restless legs syndrome.
