The etoricoxib in Kostarox may weaken the effect of antihypertensive drugs such as Co-Prestarium and cause a deterioration in kidney function, especially in patients with kidney problems. Reducing the effectiveness of Co-Prestarium can further lead to fluid retention and an increase in blood pressure.
Accordingly, Kostarox can only be used in combination with Co-Prestarium under medical supervision. During treatment, blood pressure should be monitored regularly and renal function should be monitored.
