I enrolled in a pain management clinic. After prior contact with the primary care physician, I decided to try painkiller patches in the lowest dose, unfortunately the side effects were so strong that I had to stop taking the drug. Eye pain, headache, light, disgust, nausea, vomiting, headache, four days I've been without a patch, and the headache and vomiting persist

Hypersensitivity to the active substance is an individual feature - such strong side effects do not occur often, especially when low doses of the drug are used. You did not indicate the name of the preparation, but I assume that it is a centrally acting drug of the Transtec/Melodin type. Headaches, nausea and drowsiness are the most common side effects of this group of drugs.
In this situation, you should discuss with your doctor the possibility of using a different pain reliever. In pharmacies, you can buy over-the-counter painkiller and anti-inflammatory patches containing diclofenac (e.g. Itami, Olfen Patch). The drug has a different mechanism of action. The therapeutic effect is likely to be less potent than with opioid patches.
