Hello! I had 10 days of therapy with an antibiotic for Helicobacter pylori and gastritis. I took 1000 Amoxiclin and Metranizadol 400, and of course 2 times pantaprazole before taking pills ... Although the doctor prescribed me after therapy to continue taking 1 tablet of pantaprazole for about three weeks. But I didn't drink anything today, I'm afraid of getting used to PPIs. I did the right thing, I thought maybe I should drink less than 20? I don't know if I need to take them, since I took antibiotics

Pantoprazole should be used for as long as prescribed by your doctor. In some patients, it is recommended to extend the use of drugs that reduce gastric acid secretion up to 3-4 weeks after the end of treatment, which we wrote about here:
