How long does it take for my body to return to balance after using Polpril?

Good evening, I have been taking polpril 2.5 mg for several days, side effects have appeared: facial redness, rash and sleep disorders. I have a problem with reactive hypoglycemia and after a diet I have sugar drops. How long after stopping the medication will my body return to equilibrium?

The active substance of Polpri is ramipril. The time it takes for half of the dose of the active metabolite of ramipril, ramiprilat, to remain in the body is 13-17 hours for doses of 5-10 mg, and is longer for lower doses of 1.25-2.5 mg. It is assumed that the elimination of the substance from the body occurs after 5 half-lives, for ramiprilat it will be from 65 - 85 hours. Due to the fact that you have been taking a dose of 2.5 mg, this period may be longer. After this time, the body should return to balance. The time of elimination of the drug from the body is also influenced by the patient's health condition.
