Good morning
How can I switch from movymette tablets to lesinelle tablets?
If I take a seven-day break after taking 21 Novynette tablets, can I start taking lesinelle tablets after taking this break?
Are they good for a 41-year-old woman?

Information contained in the summary of product characteristics:
"A woman should start taking Lesinelle, preferably the day after taking the last active pill of the previous combined oral contraceptive, but no later than the day after the end of the break or after taking the placebo tablets of the previous combined oral contraceptive."
"If I take a seven-day break after taking 21 Novynette tablets, can I start taking lesinelle after taking this break?"
Yes, you can start taking Lesinelle after the standard 7-day break according to your usual procedure.
"Are they good for a woman at 41?"
This question should be directed to the doctor prescribing the drug. The gynaecologist prescribes a specific treatment based on tests and medical history. Contraindications mainly concern the risk of thrombotic disease - age over 35 can be considered a risk factor, while this applies to all types of combined contraception, not just Lesinelle. If the previous tablets were well tolerated, there is a chance that these will not cause side effects either.
In case of any doubts, I encourage you to use the telerada at the gynaecologist - the service is available on our website in the e-visit tab:
