Should I stop taking Macmiror Complex 500 if I experience itching and redness in the vaginal area after two days of use?

Dr prescribed me Macmiror Complex 500 to take in vaginal area for 8 days, against yeast infection. But I started to have itchy feeling and redness in vaginal area at 2nd day of taking it. I didn’t had any of this symptoms before starting this medication. Should I stop the treatment? And I am not sure if I really had yeast infection, since I didn’t had any symptoms that would describe it other than a bit bigger amount of discharge.

If you have started to experience itching and redness in the vaginal area after starting Macmiror Complex, these may be signs of a reaction to the drug or irritation.

In such a situation, it is worth considering discontinuing the treatment, if the symptoms are bothersome or worsen, it is best to stop taking the drug. To do this, please contact your doctor to discuss your symptoms. Your doctor will make a decision about further treatment, taking into account your symptoms and medical history.

If you have doubts about this situation, it is always worth consulting a doctor who can provide more personalized advice. If you are not able to make a face-to-face visit, I attach a link to the online teleconsultation:
