Hello, I've been taking Belara contraceptive pills for 3 months and on the 13th day I got a little crazy and accidentally took 2 birth control pills instead of 1. I wasn't sure if I took the first one, and I read that it's better to take a double dose than skip the pill. If I take 2 pills, will contraceptive protection be maintained and it will not affect its effectiveness?

Taking two pills will not affect the contraceptive efficacy of Belara. It is worth using the hints on the blister and taking the tablets in a specific order - this makes it easier to control the use of the drug. Taking an extra pill ends the cycle one day earlier. If you do not want to change the date of your withdrawal bleeding, take an additional tablet from the next pack on the last day.
