Combining Setaloft (whose active ingredient is sertraline) with cannabis is not recommended as it can lead to unwanted side effects and interactions.
Cannabis can increase the side effects of sertraline, such as dizziness, anxiety or confusion, and reduce the effectiveness of treatment. Some patients also report that using marijuana with SSRIs can lead to worsening symptoms of depression. In addition, there is a risk of serotonin syndrome, which is a potentially dangerous condition.
