What should I do if I think I should pull out Nuvaring in a week, but I had the alarm set for today?

Hey. I have a question, because I think I got the dates of pulling out the ring wrong. I mean, I think I should take it out in a week, but I had the alarm set for today. In addition, my period according to the calendar is in 5 days. And I will add that it is not always as it should be, because it is either earlier or later. What should I do?

As the disc leaflet indicates: "If the system has remained in the vagina for more than 3 weeks, but not more than 4 weeks, the patient is still protected against pregnancy. The vaginal therapeutic system should be removed for one week and then a new one should be inserted." Therefore, you can simply take it out in a week and if it turns out that you should take it out a week earlier, the contraceptive protection will remain in place anyway.
