Can I reduce the frequency of taking oxycodone to stop taking it?

I take oxycodone 10 mg per day, now there are no such acute pains, I want to give up the drug, I started taking 10 mg every other day, I take everything well for a month, is it possible to take 1 time in two days for a part, then in a month after three days and not to take it at all?

Discontinuation of oxycodone should be carried out under the supervision of a doctor who will assess how to safely discontinue its use.

In order to discontinue the drug, it is recommended to gradually reduce its dose. The duration of administration and the dose should be adjusted individually to the individual patient.
Too early discontinuation of the preparation may be associated with the occurrence of withdrawal symptoms, including muscle pain, insomnia, gastrointestinal disorders, anxiety, excessive sweating.

I encourage you to consult a doctor to determine your oxycodone withdrawal strategy.
