Can nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain and dark urine in a 6-year-old child after treatment with Zentel be related to the removal of worms?

Good evening, in a 6-year-old child, the analysis confirmed worms, we were prescribed Zentel for 3 days, 1 tablet, on the fifth day after we drank the course, the child began to have nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite and pain in the navel area, and the urine became dark yellow, please tell me if this could be due to the release of worms, Or does it have nothing to do with it?

The symptoms that your child experienced after taking Zentel, such as nausea, vomiting, pain in the navel area and dark yellow urine, can be both a side effect of the drug and the body's reaction to the elimination of parasites. It is difficult to judge on the basis of such a short description.

Albendazole, the active ingredient in Zentel, can cause these complaints, and dead worms can also affect your baby's well-being. It is recommended to consult a doctor to assess symptoms and determine further treatment.
