No, swallowing such a pill should not harm you. Hitaxa fast is a drug in the form of tablets that disintegrate in the oral cavity, the so-called ODT tablets. When placed in the mouth, such a tablet disintegrates quickly in contact with saliva, which is especially helpful, m.in. for people who have problems swallowing tablets. Moisture is needed for the tablet to disintegrate, and there is no shortage of moisture in the mouth or esophagus.
The next time, if there is a need to take the medicine, the tablet should be placed in the mouth, where it will immediately disintegrate on contact with saliva. As this type of tablet is particularly sensitive to moisture, the tablet should be taken immediately after removal from the blister.
