If you have used the medicine regularly, at fixed times, you have not missed the active tablet, or you have not had diarrhoea or vomiting for up to 4 hours after taking a dose, there is no cause for concern, contraceptive protection is maintained.

When using contraception, we are not talking about a typical menstrual period, but about withdrawal bleeding. Withdrawal bleeding can vary in intensity, it can also occur earlier or later. There may also be a situation in which withdrawal bleeding does not occur at all. This is influenced by various external factors, e.g. stress, physical exertion. Do not be alarmed if this happens once and you have used the pills correctly. If bleeding does not reappear in the next cycle, I would recommend that you consult a doctor who will carry out appropriate diagnostic tests.
