Aclexa should only be used if your doctor thinks it is appropriate. The thoracic aortic prosthesis should be reported at all times. If the doctor did not know about the prosthesis, I encourage you to consult your doctor again.

Contraindications include, m.in, heart failure, known ischaemic heart disease or cerebrovascular disease, e.g. a diagnosed myocardial infarction, stroke or transient ischaemic attack (temporary restriction of blood supply to the brain, also known as a mini-stroke), angina or obstruction of the blood vessels supplying blood to the heart or brain, current or previous problems with blood circulation (arterial disease or previous surgical procedures involving the arteries of the lower limbs. Listing cardiac diseases as contraindications may indicate that the use of the drug is also not recommended in the case of a prosthesis. The final decision should be made after consultation with a doctor.
