A safe single dose of tadalafil specifically for patients with optic neuropathy (NAION) has not been established.
In the case of coexisting erectile dysfunction and NAION, other treatments should be considered, as cases of NAION have been reported in men with erectile dysfunction following exposure to tadalafil or other PDE5 inhibitors.
