Both medicines are only available with a prescription and should be taken according to their doctor's instructions.
The combination of levetiracetam and vortioxetine may result in excessive decrease in blood sodium levels, resulting in headache, nausea, cramping and weakness. In addition, vortioxetine may cause seizures in some patients, so the anticonvulsant effect of levetiracetam may be reduced with its use.
If you experience any disturbing symptoms while taking the medication, please contact your doctor.
If the drugs have been prescribed by different specialists who did not know about the other preparations you are using, it will be necessary to consult in order to determine the appropriate dosage regimen.
