Good morning, I have a question. My gums and tongue can't get used to the prosthetic bridge. Has anyone had a similar problem and felt like a "foreign body" in their mouth all the time? What can I put on it to get rid of this feeling? There is no inflammation checked. Only subjective feelings. Maybe there are some pastes/ointments that can help with this. I will be grateful for an answer.

The sensation of a "foreign body" in the mouth after a dental bridge is quite common, especially at the beginning before the oral tissues adapt. In most cases, this sensation gradually disappears as the gums and tongue get used to the bridge.
However, if the discomfort persists, you can try using soothing gels such as a moisturizing gel with hyaluronic acid (e.g., Anaftin), dexpanthenol (e.g., Deaftan), or other coating and protective gels (e.g., Elgydium Clinic Cicalium). These preparations help moisturize the mucous membrane and can reduce discomfort:

If the discomfort does not improve after a few weeks, it is worth consulting a dentist who can assess whether the bridge fits correctly.
