bleeding during week 3 of Evra patches
I have been using Evra patches for over 2 years. On Saturday I put on the 3rd patch, yesterday (Tuesday) there was a slight bleeding, as if at the beginning of my period, it is not heavy but it worried me. What should I do, apply a new patch?

This can be called mid-cycle bleeding, which sometimes occurs when using hormonal contraceptives.

Spotting or mid-cycle bleeding are common side effects of hormonal contraception that can occur not only at the beginning of use, but also after a long time, e.g. as a result of a past illness or excessive stress. This is usually not a cause for concern. If the patches are used as prescribed, contraceptive protection is maintained. If spotting persists, it is worth going to a gynaecologist to rule out non-hormonal causes.

You can continue to use the patches as planned and apply the next patch after a week's break, as you normally would.
