Ozempic therapy is recommended to start with a dose of 0.25 mg and administered once a week for 4 weeks. Your doctor will then increase the dose to 0.5 mg once a week, and if adequate blood sugar control is not achieved after this dose, he or she may increase it to 1 mg per week.
If you accidentally take a higher dose of the preparation than your doctor recommended, you may be more likely to experience side effects of the drug, including nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain.
If you take too much of the drug, contact your doctor.
