Yes, Monoprost (containing the active substance latanoprost) can change the colour of your eyes due to an increase in the amount of pigment (melanin) in the iris cells. The change in eye color usually involves a gradual darkening of the iris, which can cause the eyes to become more brown. The phenomenon is usually permanent and irreversible, even after stopping the use of the drug, but it does not occur in all patients, only in about 5-15% of people using the drug.
