Hello again, I have a question for what type of pain is Tramal and Doreta? I found them in the medicine cabinet and I'm wondering what kind of pain to take them for? I was prescribed for a basic headache, but they don't work :-( Can I take them, for example, for menstrual cramps or migraines? Are these drugs very strong in their action? Best regards

Tramal contains tramadol and Doreta contains a combination of tramadol and paracetamol. Both drugs are mainly used to treat moderate to severe pain, such as postoperative pain, traumatic pain, or chronic pain associated with cancer, or when other drugs are ineffective.
Neither Tramal nor Doreta are the first choice for the treatment of menstrual (menstrual) pain, although they can theoretically be used in cases of very severe pain if other medications (e.g. paracetamol or ibuprofen alone) are ineffective.
Tramal and Doreta are also not recommended for the treatment of migraines. In the case of migraine, drugs specifically designed for this purpose, such as triptans (e.g. almotriptan) or non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (e.g. ibuprofen or tolfenamic acid), are preferred.
