How many days should you give an injection Depo-Provera? When to take the next dose if the first injection was taken on June 24?
Hello, I have a question about how many days you should do a Depo-Prover injection. The first injection was taken on 24/06/2024, when I should have taken the 2nd dose.

According to the Summary of Product Characteristics of Depo-Provera, the recommended dosage is 150 mg every 3 months, or actually 12 weeks - according to the manufacturer's information, if a dose of the drug is missed or if the period between two subsequent injections is more than 12 weeks, there is a risk of pregnancy.
The next dose would therefore be due on September 16. However, if in doubt, I recommend that you consult the doctor who prescribed the drug.
